ASHLAND, Ore. — An Ashland business that made headlines earlier this year is now closing its doors.
Earth Dragon Edibles opened in April as a Mongolian Barbecue restaurant that used medical marijuana in its cooking oils. The restaurant initially was only for medical marijuana card holders, but that later changed.
“We should have just reminded open to just card holders and we would have been fine. We ended up just losing customers and we didn’t have enough money to hang in there for a couple of bad months,” Kevin Wallace, the owner of Earth Dragon Edibles.
Wallace is back growing medical marijuana and making “edibles” and selling those to clinics across the state from Ashland to Portland.
